Lilith Fair 2010 Tour Dates Lilith Fair is back for 2010. Sarah McLachlan has announced that Lilith Fair 2010 will tour more than 30 cities across the US and Canada. A two-week Lilith Fair tour of the UK and Europe is also in the works, with a concert in London confirmed so far.
Lilith Fair is a celebration of women in music. Sarah McLachlan conceived the idea for an all-female concert tour in 1996. At the time, Sarah was fed-up with the music industry’s refusal to promote tours with a heavily female lineup.
Lilith Fair experienced tremendous success as a festival concert tour in 1997, 1998 and 1999. In just three years, the Lilith Fair tour raised more than $10 million for women’s charities in North America.
